I’m Charlotte Johnston, an experienced acupuncturist with over 15 years’ experience, offering personalised acupuncture from my peaceful clinic at Dartington Hall, just outside Totnes.
I take time to understand you as an individual — not just the symptoms you’re experiencing — and tailor each treatment to your needs.

Acupuncture tailored to you
Everyone comes to acupuncture with a different story.
Whether you’re dealing with pain, headaches or migraines, stress, sleep difficulties, women’s health concerns or another ongoing health issue, I take time to understand what you’re experiencing and what you’d like help with.
Your treatment is then tailored specifically to you.
What can acupuncture help with?
People seek acupuncture for many different reasons. Some come because they’ve been living with a problem for a long time, while others are looking for support with a specific issue.
I commonly work with people experiencing:
Pain
Including back, neck and shoulder pain and other persistent pain conditions.
Headaches & migraines
Acupuncture may be considered as part of an approach to managing recurring headaches and migraines.
Stress & wellbeing
For people who feel overwhelmed, tense or in need of some time and space to focus on themselves.
Sleep
Support for people experiencing difficulties with sleep or finding it difficult to switch off.
Women’s health
Individualised support around areas of women’s health, depending on your circumstances.
Hay fever & other conditions
Acupuncture can be considered for a range of health concerns. If you’re unsure whether it may be appropriate for you, I’m happy to discuss your situation.

A calm, individual approach
I believe good acupuncture treatment starts with listening.
During your appointments, we’ll take time to talk about what’s been happening, your health and your priorities. This helps me build a picture of you as an individual and develop an appropriate treatment approach.
My aim is to provide a calm, welcoming environment where you can take some time for yourself while receiving professional, personalised care.
