Whilst on maternity leave, I have been busy studying a post-graduate diploma in Paediatric Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Medicine in Reading. Since he was just a few months old, I have been regularly taking the train, with baby in tow, to Reading to participate in the course. Initially I worried I was taking on too much but as I got deeper into the study I became more and more inspired and motivated. Now I am very excited to offering paediatric acupuncture to the community of Totnes and beyond in the very near future. Paediatrics is a specialist field of practice using extremely gentle needling and/or a number of ‘no-needle’ acupuncture techniques. Contact me if you would like to know more.
