We all know that exercise is good for us, …isn’t it?
Yes, but all too often it can lead to repetitive strain or injury to our bodies. Take tennis elbow, for example, which affects many of us but is especially common in people aged 40 to 50 years with incidences as high as 10% in women aged 42 to 46 years. Although generally self-limiting, symptoms of tennis elbow can persist for 1.5 to 2 years or even longer in some cases.
A recent patient of mine, following a course of acupuncture treatment in Totnes, sent me this feedback, ” I played tennis on Saturday for an hour and my arm was okay. I was very happy and with no pain afterwards, many thanks for your help.”
